Playing Out the Drama

Sometimes the only way to get to the core of the wound is to play out the drama. To own your role as the main character of your life and creator of your reality. Sometimes we have to lean all the way into the drama to see the absurdity of our circumstances. When we allow ourselves to play out this role and identity fully, we zoom out of our victim narratives. We create space to laugh at ourselves, bringing a lightness to what has been dark and heavy. The humor provides perspective and helps us see and own the drama we’ve perpetuated from our untended wounds.
